A two-storey landed home taken as a whole: the white render, the arched window frames picked out against it, the balustrades across the porch, and the timber fence and gate on the boundary.
The columns and balustrades were sheeted and cut in by hand — fiddly, slow work, and the part of a house that looks tired first when it gets skipped. The finished elevation is the one to look at.
