The living areas here are finished in a warm cream that runs across a long uninterrupted wall and up onto the ceiling — the kind of surface where a roller mark or a patchy second coat would show from across the room. It also has to turn a large-radius curved corner cleanly, following the bullnose return without a seam or a break in the colour, and carry on past the window seat as if the wall had always been that shape.
The room that shows the handwork best is the children’s bedroom. The dusty blue runs full height and stops dead along a stepped soffit, cut in freehand against the white ceiling — a clean, deliberate line that follows the step the whole way across. That single edge is the difference between a feature wall and a paint job.
