The family stayed put for this one, so the flat was worked room by room — furniture bagged, floors sheeted end to end and the space put back as we went. One bedroom started out a strong terracotta orange; the finished rooms read in a quiet mid-grey under white ceilings, with the fans, window grilles and edges cut in by hand.
A straightforward repaint on paper. In an occupied home, the protection is most of the job.
